What We Look For in an Author

Major software and hardware companies routinely approach Studio B to create large content programs ranging from customer support web sites to entire go-to-market campaigns. We arrange teams of authors, editors, project managers, and production people to create these projects.  While you don't need to be signed up with our Author Agency, we tend to provide these projects to authors we know and rely upon. Corporate writing can be very demanding, and the best corporate services authors:

• Understand the differences between writing a book and writing for a company
• Feel comfortable interacting with Product Managers
• Feel comfortable writing about technology from a management or business solution perspective

How the Agreement Works

We assign all the rights to the companies we work with, so you'll be required to assign rights to Studio B under a work-for-hire agreement.

Because you'll be selling your content to Studio B, there will not be an agency commission, even if you're working with our Author Agency.

Acceptance is determined by the companies we provide content to, and we pay you after we obtain acceptance and payment.

You'll agree to maintain the integrity of Studio B/customer relationship.
