Job Overview:
The primary responsibility of this Certification Exam Writer is to work closely with our skilled content team to creating SQL and .Net exam certifications. This project involves working within structured style guidelines to create technical exam questions. You will work closely with a team of subject matter experts to ramp up with exam writing techniques and review content and deliver test items on a weekly basis. You will work closely with a documentation lead, other writers/editors and PM to define and deliver writing assignments.
Job Requirements:
- Create 5-6 exam items/questions per week
- Weekly item deliverable schedule
- Work closely with team on style guide ramp up, review and deliver test items
Experience Requirements:
- Prior programming experience
- Candidates must possess an understanding of both exam writing and SQL 2005 or .Net technologies.
- Candidates use Microsoft Visual Studio to develop data-access portions of applications.
- Candidates will have at least two to three years' experience developing web, Microsoft Windows, or distributed applications by using the .NET Framework.
- Candidates should have a thorough understanding of relational database concepts and should have at least one to two years' experience using Microsoft SQL Server and other relational database management systems, such as Oracle, DB2, and MySQL.
- Must be able to work well within a defined deliverable schedule
- Have an aptitude for learning new tools and technologies quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and oversee or modify a schedule of tasks while working remotely
- Good judgment, time management, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Possess a bachelors degree or equivalent training and experience in Computer Science or a related field
